8- An active role in our communities

Context

We invariably have a significant presence both physically and as employers in the local economy. An active two-way commitment is therefore vital for an open and confident dialogue with the communities, guaranteeing mutual understanding of expectations.

We seek to be an active and welcome member of the community. We contribute to the social, economic and institutional development of the communities in which we operate. We work closely with the governments and the host communities, including the Uashat mak Mani-Utenam community, to ensure a solid and ongoing dialogue and a fair share of the benefits and opportunities.
